What is the Cambodia eVisa?
The Cambodia eVisa is an electronic visa that allows eligible travellers to obtain a visa before travelling to Cambodia. The application is completed online and an approved eVisa certificate is received electronically for presentation at an entry point that accepts eVisas.
Available Cambodia eVisa types
The electronic visa system includes Visa T for tourism, Visa E as the Ordinary category, and Visa A, Visa B and Visa C for diplomatic, official and courtesy travel. The Cambodia eVisa application on this website is dedicated to the Visa T tourist product.
Cambodia tourist eVisa Visa T
Visa T is intended for tourism. It permits a single entry, is valid for three months from issue and allows a maximum stay of one month. It must be used within its validity period.
Cambodia ordinary eVisa Visa E
Visa E is the Ordinary category. Published conditions describe a single entry, three months of validity from issue and a maximum stay of one month. It is separate from the tourist product offered through this application.
Cambodia tourist visa exemptions
Published Visa T information lists exemptions for nationals of Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and Myanmar. Travellers covered by an exemption should check whether a visa is required for their planned stay before applying.
Cambodia eVisa passport requirements
The passport must have more than six months of remaining validity at the time of entry into Cambodia. Use the passport connected to the eVisa application and make sure its details match the approved certificate.
Documents required for Cambodia eVisa
A tourist eVisa application requires the passport biodata page and a recent passport-size digital photograph. The passport image should show the full personal-details page, photograph and readable machine-readable zone.
Cambodia eVisa photo requirements
Provide a recent passport-size digital photograph. The published requirements accept JPEG or PNG. No additional dimensions are stated in the current published tourist eVisa requirements.
Cambodia eVisa validity
Visa T and Visa E are valid for three months from the date of issue. Entry must take place while the eVisa remains valid.
Number of entries
Visa T and Visa E are single-entry visas. Once the permitted entry has been used, the same eVisa cannot be used for another entry.
Maximum permitted stay
Visa T and Visa E each permit a stay of up to one month, subject to the conditions applied at entry.
Airports accepting Cambodia eVisa
The currently accepted airports are Techo International Airport (KTI), Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI) and Sihanoukville International Airport (KOS).
Land borders accepting Cambodia eVisa
The currently accepted land checkpoints are Bavet in Svay Rieng and Tropaeng Kreal in Stung Treng.
Entry points temporarily closed for eVisa
Cham Yeam in Koh Kong and Poipet in Banteay Meanchey are currently listed as temporarily closed for eVisa entry until further notice. They are not selectable in the application. Temporary checkpoint restrictions can change.
Cambodia eVisa processing time
The published processing range for Visa T and Visa E is 1–3 business days. Apply with sufficient time before departure because additional processing can take longer.
Receiving the approved eVisa
After approval, the eVisa can be received by email or retrieved through the application status facility. The approved certificate must be available for immigration when entering Cambodia.
Cambodia eVisa certificate
Cambodia eVisa certificates use a QR code for verification from 1 August 2026. The certificate should be kept available for immigration inspection.
Cambodia e-Arrival is separate
The Cambodia e-Arrival procedure is separate from the eVisa application. Travellers must complete it even when they already hold a visa, and the published recommendation is to submit it online within seven days before arrival. No e-Arrival questions are included in this eVisa form.
Cambodia eVisa entry requirements
Travel with the passport connected to the application, have a valid eVisa certificate, enter through a checkpoint currently accepting eVisa, complete the separate Cambodia e-Arrival requirement and make sure the eVisa remains within its validity period.
Important travel information
Before departure, check that the passport has more than six months of validity remaining at entry, the eVisa is still valid, the planned checkpoint accepts eVisa, the Cambodia e-Arrival requirement is complete and the approved certificate is available. Land travellers should pay particular attention to temporary closures.
